| A Berg Portable modular chiller is a basically a series or set of chiller refrigeration modules that operate together to offer the large cooling capacity required and can be installed one at a time to form a sequence of chillers. But while the true value of a modular chiller solutions is uninterrupted operation, this has been achieved in two very different ways: either by using 1) multiple backup systems, or 2) by using a systems of modules where it is possible to remove, service or replace individual modules without shutting down the balance of the system - all in a matter of hours. While the first option can reduce service calls, the implementation of multiple backup systems can be expensive. |
Since Berg only use American manufactured components (Copeland compressor, Alco and Sporlan refrigeration products) in the production of Berg Chillers, all major parts can be sourced from local wholesalers or overnight from our facility in Toronto, Canada.
