Air Cooled Ethylene Glycol Chiller and Pumping Package | ||||||||||
Chiller capacity is 108 tons @ 40F 60% leaving glycol, refrigerant included, factory charged and has two independently circuited refrigerant systems. One system shall be serviceable while other operates, a redundant backup standby. Chiller complies with local and Provincial Regulations and is CSA approved and labelled. | ||||||||||

Chiller energy efficiency is -4 approximate ASHRAE / IESNA Standard 9 A 1.5. Factory constructed, wired, piped, performance tested and certified by a manufacturer engaged in the production of this or similar type of equipment. Chiller refrigeration system is factory pressure and leak tested at 2689 kPa high side and 1724 kPa low side. Glycol circulating pumps manufactured, assembled and tested per the Hydraulic Institute standards. Motors are TEFC and meet NEMA standards while being suitable for winter shut down.
| The chiller is Tag with weather rated identification plates mounted on the service access side of the equipment. Identification plates have white background with 50 mm high black block letters and numbers and be engraved with the assigned Equipment Tag Number as "TAG NO. 838-AC-30. Provided a complete air-cooled, screw type, dual circuited, ethylene glycol chiller package including: Rotary screw type compressors, evaporators, condenser coils and fans, motors and motor starters. Refrigerant piping and accessories, HFC-134a refrigerant and POE lubricant, glycol fluid pumps, air separator, automatic air vents, expansion tank, glycol piping, valves, strainers, controls, control centre, integral wiring and ready for connection to chilled glycol field piping circuit. |
Provided neoprene in shear vibration isolators for field installation. Frame designed for rigid torque resistance, shipping support and lifting lugs.
A single electrical power connection with disconnect switch and service receptacle with disconnect and install components mounted on a welded steel frame with heavy gauge galvanized steel panels and access doors finished to Berg standard.
All glycol / water piping system components are capable of withstanding winter shut downs based on a 60/40 ethylene glycol / water solution down to minus (-) 50°C outdoor ambient temperatures.
All electrical, including controls, are CSA and/or ULC approved and sealed.
